🐾❤️ Freya and I are taking on the Paws for Sick Kids Challenge this July! ❤️🐾

This July, Freya and I will be getting our walking shoes (and tiny paws!) ready to help raise money for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Sydney through the Paws for Sick Kids Challenge.

As many of you know, I’m a nurse, and I’ve seen firsthand how important it is for families to stay together during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Ronald McDonald House gives families a place to stay close to their sick child, allowing them to focus on what matters most—being together.

It costs around $190 to support one family for one night at Ronald McDonald House Sydney.

That one night provides so much more than just a room. It means:
❤️ A place just minutes from the hospital.
🍽️ Home-cooked meals and a fully stocked kitchen.
📚 Education support so children can continue learning.
🤝 A community of staff, volunteers and other families who understand what they’re going through.
🏡 Most importantly, it means families can stay together while their child receives treatment.

Last year alone, Ronald McDonald House Randwick supported over 820 family stays, served more than 6,100 meals, and helped over 200 children continue their education.

No donation is too small—every single dollar helps support families during one of the toughest times in their lives. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this post would mean just as much.
