We’ll be doing 100k for sick kids in July
Muse and I hereby swear that we will bring you tales from the trail as we raise funds on our 100km walk for Ronald McDonald House this July!
You’ll get weird and you’ll get wonderful for a few dollars support as we get going in ‘PAWS for Sick Kids’’, supporting seriously ill and injured kids and their families.
After my brother’s recent transplant, it was brought home just how important it is for sick people and their support people to stay close by the hospital during treatment. It’s not just that things can change fast, but it’s a stressful time for families, who often have to navigate unfamiliar streets at difficult times. Everyone benefits from support and feeling like help is close at hand—and kids and their families need this even more.
The truth is, it costs an average of $160 to support a sick child and their family for one night at Ronald MacDonald House. I’m aiming for one week for one family.
