My Hooman and I are walking for Sick Kids!

My Hooman and I are taking part in PAWS for Sick Kids this July to support seriously ill and injured children and their families.

For sick kids staying at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick, they just want their families close as they battle childhood diseases, illnesses and injuries.

On average, it costs $160 to support a sick child and their family for one night at the House so that families can stay for FREE and focus on what is most important, their sick child

Please support me and help keep families together as they face the most difficult journey of their lives.

Together, we can show these brave and courageous kids that we're fighting for them.

Got the nose turned on

Wednesday 24th Jul
With all these walks we have been going to different spots which means different smells. Enjoying and exploring all the cracks and crevices that delicious smells hide in haha

Sidney has been doing so well on these walks and putting into practice the training we’ve been working hard on. She’s happy to be out and about and enjoying all the sniffs

On for the trot

Saturday 6th Jul
Sidney was just ready to walk this evening and powered through one of her usual routes in record time. She has energy to burn

Got that Friday feeling

Friday 5th Jul
I think I had a bit more of a pep in my step than Sidney for our afternoon walk. She was just taking it all in strolling along enjoying the winter sun.

Thursday 4th Jul
Sidney sat very nicely for me in the afternoon sunset so I could take her photo. We finally had a day of no rain so why not take the photo op. 3.58km today

Might need to invest in a better raincoat

The rainy weather has really made these walks slightly less enjoyable and I’m running out of shoes haha

Commitment to the cause

Tuesday 2nd Jul
You can’t say we aren’t making the efforts. Our walks today were both very wet especially in the PM. Sidney is all rugged up in her “robe” ready to rest for the rest of the night.

It didn’t last long unfortunately. But lucky Sidney is happy to walk wet. It’s just the drying that’s the problem

It’s getting pretty chilly in the mornings for our walks but doesn’t take long to get toastie under all the layers. I think it was 9° for this walk.
