We're walking for Sick Kids!

Hi! Tahlia, Emma, Lux and Brandy here!

For the duration of July we will be walking 100km and fundraising for sick kids and their families at Ronald McDonald House, Randwick. Last year, we participated separately with our pups and both smashed our fundraising goals of $1000. So this year we’re asking for your help again but with a collective fundraising goal of $2000. **UPDATE: we smashed our goal of 2k, so have increased to 4K!!!*** Whether it be donations, big or small, or sharing the link for our fundraiser page below, it all helps us help them!

Last year RMHC Sydney supported over 962 family stays at their House in Randwick. Over 1,500 families used the three Family Rooms across NSW and over 9,000 meals were served.

By donating to and/or sharing the link to our fundraiser, you are helping ensure RMHC can continue providing vital support services for free and keep families together as their child takes on the fight of their life.

On average it costs RMHC Sydney $160 per night to support each family staying at the House. In the traditional sense of the word, a night would simply refer to a roof over someone's head for the night, but at RMHC Sydney, a night means so much more to these families.

A night for these families means:

• They have a network of families, staff and volunteers in the House that understand what they are going through

• A quick 5-minute walk to the hospital when you need it

• A kitchen full of food and home-made meals cooked for them 3 times per week

• Access to our Family Rooms when staying on ward

• Access to in-house education support by qualified teachers and 40 hours of free tuition when the patient returns home

• It’s free to families staying at RMHC Sydney so they can focus on their sick child
