Day 6 - Making great progress
Great efforts from the team members, lots of km this week!!! Hit 20km today ourselves and Team has raised enough money to fund 53 nights for families at RMHC!!!Day 1 What have we got ourselves into!
Leg it for Lillia
This July we are walking 100km with Barley (our Dog) to support sick kids and their families at Ronald McDonald House Sydney. We stayed at RMHC for over 280 nights, while our daughter, Lillia, undertook cancer treatment at Sydney Children’s Hospital before she passed. The unwavering support of staff, volunteers and other families in the house was invaluable as Lillia underwent neurosurgery, radiation, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. We personally know many other families that RMHC is providing a home away from home for months and years as they also tackle childhood cancer and other major illnesses and injuries. We have formed a team so you can join us in taking up the Paws for Sick Kids challenge; or donate to the cause if you can, to keep both us and Barley motivated. Funds raised will go to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney to keep families close while their child is being treated in hospital.
